Dwayne and Emily

The film “Jungle Cruise” was the first major blockbusting film to be released after the Covid pandemic. The Disney studios wished to create some arresting publicity for social media and commissioned me to carve portraits of the main actors  Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and  Emily Blunt into a 600kg slab of rock whilst being filmed using time-lapse and live cameras.  The final montage of the carving process was intercut with scenes from the film and released to approx 60 million subscribers the day before the release.
